What went well for me with the writing process in this paper is that I already knew what pieces of evidence I wanted to use in my paragraphs. After making my top sentences for each paragraphs, it made it easier for me to finds evidence for that specific paragraph and and overall argument. Also, what I feel I did well was clear up my thesis statement with the help of the peer feedback that I got from both my partner and my teachers. I feel that the peer feedback was the most important step for my writing process because I was able to get other voices and opinions on my paper and how I could improve it. I got ideas from my partner that helped me make my paper stronger and make sure that my thesis was more clear. In the beginning, One thing that I struggled with when writing this paper was trying to find and make a thesis for the argument I wanted to make. I knew what I wanted to say but actually putting it together in writing was the hard part. But class discussions and talking to others in class helped me develop and formulate a thesis that is strong enough to argue about. I feel that for the next time I write a paper, I should thoroughly think through what I want to talk about before writing about it because it would only make the writing process more difficult if I don’t
