My goals for the digital portfolio created in this course are to categorize my work and discussion points. And I would like for it to show the range of topics and genres of work that were covered throughout the course. They would include articles, short writings, and papers. The most I want to get out of creating a portfolio is seeing the work and progress I make with the assignment given. Also, with this portfolio, I can see and choose which of my work that is there is the strongest among the rest. I think my portfolio is going to help as a student where I can keep my work organized that way I know where specific things are and people can visit it as well. The portfolio will help me as a writer where I can see all the work I did throughout the semester and how I progressed from the beginning of the semester to the end. I can also keep my drafts in there just in case I write multiple papers. They would help me show the strong points and the weak points in my work where it would help me as a writer where others can give me feedback and tips so that I can produce the work possible. The intended audience for my portfolio is my peers where they can observe my work and can compare it to theirs regarding the specific assignment. The purpose that I would like my portfolio to serve for you and for others is like a measuring stick for the progression I made throughout all the work I did. The portfolio can also be served as a source where I can refer to where there is a discussion in class and there is an idea that I want to speak on based on the work we have done. I want my portfolio to look like a page with different sections that projects the different writing types and styles that I do in this class. It would look organized and also would be presentable and open for other people to see.
